Indeed - the first part of the journey for most musicians is learning an instrument. Whether it be Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano, Ukulele, or even DJing, Studio Recording or Music Production (for those wanting something a little different!), we can happily help you out with getting the hang of these.

Why learn through Spiderhands?

We have all the available times (updated daily) on our Bookings Page. You can schedule a trial there, too!

Our Music Studio is in Southampton Street, Sydenham. Our studio has everything needed for students to both learn, write, practice, perform, produce and record music.

We currently offer an free 1st no-obligation trial lesson for all new students, so that you can decide if you want to commit to weekly music lessons.
After the trial, it’s $65 p/hour, or $32.50 per 30-minute session.
Payment options (for weekly lessons) are as follows:
- $65 per fortnight,
- $159.50 per half-term (5 weeks),
- $319 per full-term (10 weeks),
- or $605 per semester (2 full-terms).Please note that
- We do not currently accept weekly/per-lesson payments
- We accept cash, bank transfers and EFTPOS payments
- Finally, there is a 10% discount at 50 lessons and a 20% discount at 100! -
You have two options:
1) You can pay via cash or EFTPOS (in person) at the start of each lesson,
OR
2) via direct debit (SPIDERHANDS PRODUCTIONS LIMITED, 06-0942-0352165-00) before paid sessions.
If students do not pay for lessons when they're due, they risk losing their time slots.

Please give us at least 12 hours' notice for the cancellation - otherwise, we'll still expect full payment for your missed session.
